Porsche 928 Coming in 2011

In 1995 Porsche stopped making the 928 after an 18-year run and the company has gone without a front-engine coupe ever since. But now Porsche is on its way to developing a direct competitor for front-engine GTs, and man does it look nice. The car may still be named the 928 and expected to hit dealerships in 2011. The car is expected to share 60% of the parts with the Panamera with a slightly shorter wheelbase. The unnamed vehicle is also expected to carry Porsche’s direct-injection-equipped V8 engines producing 350 horsepower with turbo versions going as far as 500 horsepower. Pricing estimates are set at $100,000 – $150,000.
